The role manages annual salary and incentive cycles, market benchmarking, salary structures analysis, survey database management and Workday compensation data and systems. Working closely with HR Business Partners, HRIS, Finance, and firm leaders, the Manager ensures compensation programs are accurate, competitive and aligned with business needs.\nWhat You Will Do:\nCompensation Cycle Management\nLead the annual salary and incentive compensation cycles for global legal and business support populations, ensuring accurate and timely execution.\nDevelop cost analyses and budget models in partnership with Finance for various pay groups across the firm.\nCoordinate the Performance and Compensation Review project plan and related manager communications with HR stakeholders.\nMarket Benchmarking and Job Evaluation\nManage survey participation, including budgets, schedules, invoices, data submissions, and vendor relationships.\nOptimize the firm’s benchmarking capabilities within MarketPay.\nEvaluate new and existing roles based on market data and internal equity considerations. Recommend appropriate job levels and FLSA classifications.\nReview salary structures, geographic differentials, and market movement and recommend adjustments based on business needs and market data.\nReview survey submissions prepared by analysts for accuracy and completeness.\nSystems and Process Improvement\nManage data within Workday and MarketPay and drive the continuous improvement of supporting systems and workflows.\nEstablish audit cadence of salary ranges, job profiles, market matches to maintain accuracy, consistency, and appropriate controls.\nWork with HRIS to support the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of compensation business processes and system enhancements.\nSupport the automation of legal group processes for year end planning. \nStakeholder Partnership\nPartner with HRIS, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, HR Operations, and HR Business Partners to meet compensation deliverables and business objectives.\nAdvise HR Business Partners, managers, and firm leaders on compensation matters and provide analysis to support informed and consistent decision making.\nCommunications, and Documentation\nDevelop training materials and communications on compensation education and Workday compensation planning.\nCreate and maintain process documentation, project plans, timelines, and operating procedures.\nProjects Management\nDrive compensation projects and initiatives, including job architecture, incentive program design, market-data refinement and system enhancements.\nSupport other Total Rewards and HR initiatives.\nWho You Are:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent, CCP certification a plus. \n7+ years of related experience.\nExperience working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday. MarketPay experience desirable.\nProficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, modeling, and the development of clear analytical outputsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.\nStrong project management and organization skills.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.\nProficiency in developing and managing spreadsheets as well as experience implementing and/or managing various software applications.\nHigh level of attention to detail -
