The role also leads the plant EHS team and serves as a key advisor to manufacturing leadership on safety, environmental, and regulatory matters.\nWhy This Role Matters\nProvides strategic leadership for the plant's environmental, health and safety programs, helping protect employees while supporting safe and sustainable manufacturing operations.\nDrives compliance with applicable environmental and safety regulations, company standards, management systems, and certification requirements, reducing operational and regulatory risk. \nStrengthens the EHS culture across production and administrative areas by engaging leaders, employees, and cross-functional partners in proactive risk identification and prevention.\nServes as a key EHS authority for the site, with responsibility for escalating critical risks and stopping activities or conditions that present unacceptable safety, environmental, or legal compliance risks.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead the implementation of environmental, health and safety strategies, programs, standards, and action plans to achieve site and regional EHS objectives.\nEnsure compliance with applicable environmental and safety regulations and maintain the documentation, management systems, audits, and certifications necessary to support compliance.\nLead and develop the EHS team while promoting a strong safety and environmental culture throughout manufacturing and administrative operations.\nLead incident investigations, risk assessments, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis to reduce workplace and environmental risks and prevent recurrence. \nPartner with plant leadership and regional and global EHS teams to coordinate initiatives, align priorities, support audits, and continuously improve EHS performance.\nOversee environmental management activities, including ISO 14001-related processes, regulatory compliance, water treatment operations, environmental monitoring, and supporting operational controls. \n'\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Industrial, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical or Safety Engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years of experience leading EHS processes within a manufacturing environment, including environmental and safety regulatory compliance, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and implementation or maintenance of ISO 14001.\n3+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to influence across functions and drive EHS initiatives within complex manufacturing operations. \nExperience in manufacturing environment and participation in corporate or governmental audits are preferred. \n#LI-FG1\nGoodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
