This position also serves as the site leader for EHS management systems and governance processes.\nWhy This Role Matters\nDrives the development and execution of the site’s EHS strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and Goodyear EHS&S goals.\nPromotes a strong culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.\nBuilds trust and transparency with regulatory agencies, community leaders, and external stakeholders while strengthening the company’s EHS reputation.\nLeads initiatives that improve EHS performance, reduce environmental impact, and support sustainable manufacturing practices.\nWhat You Will Do\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, local, environmental, health, safety, and company requirements.\nLead the deployment and continuous improvement of the site EHS management system, including ISO 14001 implementation and ISO 45001 certification readiness.\nDevelop and execute plant EHS initiatives, governance processes, performance metrics, and improvement strategies.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to increase workforce engagement, empowerment, and ownership of EHS performance.\nEstablish leading and lagging key performance indicators and drive measurable improvements in EHS results.\nFoster a learning-focused culture through coaching, servant leadership, problem-solving, and human and organizational performance principles.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s degree, Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or equivalent certifications are valued.\n7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and leading proactive EHS programs within a manufacturing environment.\n3+ years of leadership experience implementing, managing, or sustaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or comparable EHS management systems.\nDemonstrated success improving EHS performance, partnering with regulatory agencies, and influencing stakeholders through strong communication, business acumen, and leadership skills.\n#LI-NA3\nGoodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
