This role offers the opportunity to work on legal issues in a global technology company.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.\nUS: $217000 - $314000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nDiscuss, draft, and review a wide variety of commercial agreements related to Google's payment products and services, including partnerships with financial institutions, payment processors, merchants, and technology providers.\nProvide practical and legal advice to product, engineering, and business teams on legal risks and compliance obligations related to payments.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, business development, finance, and marketing, to ensure legal considerations are integrated into product development and business strategy.\nStay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends in the payments space.\nDevelop and maintain standard form agreements, legal templates, and internal policies. Assist with the resolution of legal disputes and manage external counsel as needed.
