We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.\nIndividual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Finland: €78000 - €79500 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nMonitor and oversee the implementation of all construction quality and commissioning processes by our project management consultants, general contractors, electrical/mechanical trades, quality and commissioning agents.\nReport the quality and commissioning status for the full life cycle of the construction project.\nIdentify risks to a project and developing mitigation strategies with the project team.\nWork and collaborate on regional or global initiatives to improve the Construction Quality Program.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management) or equivalent practical experience.\n2 years of experience managing technical, multi-disciplinary programs or capital construction projects from planning to handover.\nExperience overseeing construction quality and commissioning (QCx) in data centers or technology mission-critical facilities.\nExperience managing general contractors, specialized trade subcontractors (electrical, mechanical, controls), and third-party commissioning agents.\nExperience leading cross-functional teams and managing construction projects in an international or regional setting.\nPreferred qualifications:\nActive professional commissioning or project management certification, such as Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP), Qualified Commissioning Process Provider (QCxP), Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA), or PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP).\nDirect experience utilizing enterprise construction management and commissioning software (e.g., Autodesk BIM 360 / Construction Cloud, Procore, CxAlloy, or Latista).\nDeep technical knowledge of data center electrical, mechanical, and controls equipment, combined with continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean Construction, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA).\nFamiliarity with European and Nordic construction regulations, environmental standards, and local contractor ecosystems in hyperscale data center builds.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3489,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":2,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Operating Systems","Streaming & OTT Platforms","Foundation Models","Consumer Internet Groups"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-30T04:49:33Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Skilled Worker, Senior or Specialist Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Skilled Worker;
