You provide the management team with the needed insight to drive intelligent, sound decision-making. You understand the industry landscape and regional nuances, and harness them to manage the agreements and integration. With an air of humility, you bring strong quantitative skills, strategic thinking and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think about what is - and what could be.\nThe Corporate Development team drives Google's worldwide growth by identifying exciting acquisition and strategic investment opportunities across existing and future markets - and then working to make them happen. Consisting of experienced merger-and-acquisition leaders, investment professionals, scouting and strategy specialists, and integration experts, we're dedicated to identifying the business opportunities of tomorrow. We drive team decisions, lead negotiations, and help run post-acquisition integration and performance evaluation.\nResponsibilities\nBuild connections with regional investor and start-up ecosystems, while interfacing with Google product and engineering teams.\nIdentify, evaluate, and value acquisition and strategic investment opportunities in APAC (North Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia).\nDrive management team decisions, help lead agreement negotiations and execution, plus manage post-acquisition integration.\nServe as a board member or observer on regional investments.\nCollaborate with the Deal team in Mountain View, CA and globally.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience in corporate development, venture capital, private equity or investment banking within the technology industry.\n5 years of experience working on deals.\nExperience leading and negotiating Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, or investments.\nExperience building financial models and valuing companies.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMBA or other equivalent advanced degree.\n10 years of experience within technology.\nExperience in working on cross-border transactions, and working in one or more APAC regions.\nAI, internet/mobile, communications or e-commerce experience.\nExcellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.\nBusiness fluency in additional Asian
