You will identify enterprise security requirements and provide guidance to enterprise initiatives. You will serve as technical support for security tools and assist with security tool implementation and integration into the customer environment. You will also provide guidance on the development of containment and remediation plans for cyber security incidents.In addition, you will be the technical advocate for information security requirements and provide information of the security domain. You will execute on tactical plans, including direct engagement and delivery in technical matters. training.\nUS: $112000 - $161000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nIdentify issues in customer Cyber Defense Centers and formulate strategies for improvement, plan implementation of improvements, and execute/oversee plans to completion.\nCreate and modify SIEM use cases and detection logic, leveraging cyber threat intelligence, written in technology-specific query language or Sigma open signature format.\nProvide expertise for SIEM and other SOC technologies that assist in incident response.\nMeasure and improve alert fidelity through metrics creation, tracking, responding to tuning requests, implementing incident-specific detection logic, etc.\nEngage and collaborate with client stakeholders and other groups within the customer environment to drive resolution for security issues.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.\n3 years of experience with detection tuning and creation leveraging various security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, or NDR tools).\nExperience with content engineering inside SIEM platforms (e.g., rule creation, advanced correlation searching, etc\nExperience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell and Python).\nAbility to travel up to 20%.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience with SPL, KQL, YARA-L or similar SIEM query languages, with an understanding of SIEM log flow, aggregation, and forwarding.\nAbility to engage and collaborate with client stakeholders and other groups within the customer environment to drive resolution for security issues.\nAbility to develop executive stakeholder client relationships to achieve project/long-term
