You'll work with specific project teams on negotiating deals, managing vendor and partner relationships and presenting deal recommendations to our Tech leadership. data center colocation and leasing contracts, as well as energy supply, renewable energy power purchase agreements, partnerships/Joint Ventures (JVs), and other data center-related energy contracts.\nContribute to the growth of Google's data center portfolio through energy due diligence during site selection and data center project development.\nHelp set strategy for Google's energy procurement program, including the procurement of carbon-free energy in support of Google's clean energy goals.\nDevelop and lead agreement approvals, investment memos, and other transaction related materials with senior executives and partner teams, working with team members and cross-company partner teams (Engineering, Finance, Legal, Accounting, etc.).\nManage strategic relationships with key suppliers including utilities, IPPs, project developers, etc.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n6 years of experience in energy project development, utility procurement, or finance/consulting roles.\n6 years of experience in data center colocation and leasing.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience with power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure, data center technology, electrical and cooling systems, or related technical areas.\nExperience managing utility agreements, addressing energy-related issues, applying financial modeling and implementing clean energy initiatives.\nExperience in indirect taxes, economic development policy, infrastructure development, agreement drafting, and presentation development, along with data center real estate
