As part of the data center team, you will operate, monitor, and support facility activities at Google's data centers. You bring the ideas of our Data Center Engineers to life and develop creative approaches to improve efficiencies and reduce operational costs.\nIn this role, you will train alongside experienced technicians and may regularly help inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems such as piping and non-critical electrical or mechanical system components. Acquire knowledge of work order and ticket workflow.\nComplete all assigned training as scheduled. Availability to work on shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience with mechanical infrastructure systems, HVAC, mechanical maintenance, electrical safety, technical troubleshooting, computerized maintenance management system, predictive maintenance.\nAbility to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment, the required use of OSHA standard safety equipment such as limited weight bearing work platforms, ladders, step stools and personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety harnesses.\nAbility to work non-standard hours.\nPreferred qualifications:\nAssociate's degree, trade school certification, or related training program certification in a relevant technical field (eg.
