As a Hardware Operations Manager, you will manage a team of Data Center Technicians. You will oversee the quality installation of server hardware and components and take charge of complicated installations/troubleshooting.\nYour team will install, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain hardware (like servers and its components) and server software (like Google's Linux cluster). They will also take on the configuration of more complex components such as networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches and networking protocols. priorities.\nOversee the day-to-day management of teams within data center operations, work together to identify and resolve problems, and create solutions for our global computing and network architecture.\nDemonstrate the ability to implement and drive the safety culture at the site.\nManage the implementation of projects within the team and ensure data center-related priorities are consistent with company objectives.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.\n5 years of experience managing technical, vendor, contract management, or delivery teams.\nAbility to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience managing technical teams, vendor or contract management and service delivery.\nExperience working in data center environments, including building and operating large-scale infrastructure, network and compute architecture and lifecycle, and Linux/Unix system administration.\n\nExperience with initiating and executing strategic initiatives in a global environment.\n\nTrack record of leading and improving Environmental Health and Safety initiatives.\n\nDemonstrated strong performance and experience with data gathering, analysis and presentation
