more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nManage round-the-clock operations across all shifts (days, nights, weekends) within the metro area.\nOversee hiring, coaching, talent development, and vendor management for technical teams.\nLead the deployment, maintenance, and support of systems and network architectures.\nLeverage Linux/Unix, network protocol, and hardware life-cycle expertise to resolve complex strategic challenges.\nExecute global strategic projects aligned with company goals while driving strict Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience managing technical teams, vendor or agreement management and service delivery.\n\n5 years of experience working in data center environments, including building and operating infrastructure, and network and compute architecture and life-cycle, and Linux/Unix system administration.\nAbility to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts (this role is third shift/night shift), holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience with initiating and executing strategic initiatives in a global environment.\nExperience leading
