US: $217000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Lead complex and ambiguous programs focusing on execution and delivery. Partner with research and engineering leads to translate strategic goals into well-defined program plans, timelines, and success metrics.
• Drive the end-to-end execution of large-scale initiatives, including deployment planning and coordination, infrastructure readiness, safety testing, and model evaluation processes.
• Act as a key liaison between the Generative Media team and other critical DeepMind projects, including teams working on Gemini, AI Platform, Trust and Safety, Marketing and Communications, Legal and more.
• Develop and implement efficient processes and systems to manage deployment and launches at scale. Identify opportunities for automation and tooling to improve research and engineering velocity.
• Build strong relationships and provide clear, consistent communication to stakeholders across research, engineering, and leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management leading cross-functional projects/programs.
• Experience with Generative AI.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience developing, launching products, or technologies with Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with projects related to media technology or interactive entertainment.
• Experience working with multimodal generative models or multimodal datasets.
• Familiarity with computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
