We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (SDE IV) with strong expertise in both development and operations. This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture and the ability to design scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable services in AWS.
  • Own operations: automation, monitoring, alerting, reliability, and performance.
  • Build and enhance observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
  • Lead incident response and production issue resolution.
  • Drive cross-team projects and mentor engineers.


Requirements:

  • 8+ years in DevOps/Infrastructure, with strong AWS experience.
  • Solid understanding of systems architecture, networking, and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc. )
  • Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash).
  • Proven debugging and problem-solving skills.


Good to Have:

  • Experience with FinOps / cost optimisation.
  • Exposure to compliance standards (SOC2 GDPR, etc. )
  • Background in software development or system design.
