Be responsible for hiring, performance management, and career development of your team.\nSet the architectural goal for Play Pass back-end infrastructure, multi-surface clients, and promotional engines. \nCollaborate with product, marketing, User Experience (UX), and data science to create impactful features, run broadly available campaigns, and invest in the scalable infrastructure to drive significant growth of the product.\nSet the architectural standards by actively participating in design reviews, mentor engineers on complex, cross-team dependencies, and grow a strong bench of leads within the team.\nManage organizational dependencies and communication with leadership across Google Play. \nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.\n8 years of experience in software development.\n3 years of experience with full stack development, across the back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.\n3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.\n2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.\n3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.\nExperience in data
