You will help the team balance existing and growing regulatory requirements with new policies as Google's products evolve. In this role, you will partner with Product and Engineering leaders inside Core and across the entire Google ecosystem. Your role requires exceptional end-to-end systems thinking, unifying horizontal data protection capabilities while establishing deep cohesion across major strategic initiatives.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. Requirements Documents (PRDs) by overseeing collaboration with partner teams (e.g., engineers, Program Managers, User Experience) during product design.\nDirect and manage the definition of product roadmaps.\nOwn development and secure buy-in for a product vision that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.\nOversee validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, revenue).\nLead the team through defining, identifying, collecting, and tracking appropriate product or business metrics, both quantitative and qualitative for new or existing products or business ventures.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.\n5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).\nExperience integrating generative AI tools or Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces into workflows.\nExperience with data governance, privacy-by-design principles, and compliance in enterprise data environments.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster's degree in a technology or business related field.\n7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, finance, and other stakeholders to architect and scale mission-critical platform services.\n5 years of experience in software development or engineering involving large-scale data infrastructure (e.g., data warehousing, data lakes, distributed query engines).\n5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.\nExperience with modern AI/ML systems, including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic frameworks, and evaluation
