Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.\nResponsibilities\nLead the APAC professional services application modernisation practice through strategy and execution, driving legacy workload transformation across JAPAC and other regions. Drive regional practice strategy, presales agreement qualification, and operational metrics (utilization, revenue, capacity forecasting).\nGuide enterprise customers through application refactoring, transitioning monolithic architectures to microservices, APIs, and serverless models. Architect cloud-native application architectures, enabling scalability, resilience, and continuous delivery across Google Cloud infrastructure.\nAdvise technical leaders and Engineering teams on Containerisation strategies, Kubernetes deployment, AI agent architecture, and adopting cloud-native application patterns.\nEstablish best practices and frameworks for modernising legacy workloads, API management, DevOps integration, and cloud-native application lifecycle management.\nManage, mentor, and scale a high-performing, cross-regional team of technical consultants across JAPAC.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n7 years of experience leading application modernization, refactoring legacy workloads, and architecting cloud-native solutions.\n3 years of experience in people management and leading cross-functional teams.\nExperience designing microservices architectures, containerized deployments (e.g., Kubernetes), serverless models, and API-driven application frameworks.\n\nExperience designing and architecting agentic AI systems and workflows.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience refactoring complex monolithic systems into decoupled microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures on Google Cloud.\nExperience implementing modern CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and application lifecycle automation for continuous delivery.\nExperience with modern cloud-native observability, service mesh, API gateway management, and cloud security patterns.\nAbility to drive end-to-end cloud-native transformations for enterprise clients, from legacy workload assessment to implementation.\nAbility to advise C-level and technical leadership on strategic technology roadmaps and cloud-native transformation governance.\nAbility to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive strategic alignment across specialized practices, such as Data Analytics and Artificial
