We maintain year-over-year performance of the sensors in our devices, along with developing innovative, never-before-seen technologies in the sensing space. Given the importance of sensors in understanding and feeding user context into the ML/AI/LLM, this is an incredibly exciting and dynamic space.\nIn this role, you will be managing the health sensing technologies and roadmap for Google wearable products. You will be responsible for designing the electrical systems of health sensing, modeling and evaluating simulation results, conducting human level testing and working with the algorithm team to deliver the optimal solution.\nIndividual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $236000 - $329000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nLead and mentor a high-performing team of sensor hardware engineers, technologists, and scientists.\nOwn the hardware lifecycle of health sensing systems (such as PPG, ECG, and bio-impedance) from initial concept to high-volume manufacturing.\nCollaborate with Algorithm and Software teams to ensure sensor signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) meets data-processing and machine-learning requirements.\nBe the subject matter expert for health sensors, including PPG and ECG sensors.
