The Hardware Operations team is responsible for monitoring the state-of-the-art physical infrastructure behind Google's powerful search technology. As an Operations Technician, you'll install, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain hardware (like servers and its components) and server software (like Google's Linux cluster). In this role, a normal day involves using tools, manually moving server racks, and navigating an industrial environment. deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center servers and network infrastructure.\nDiagnose and repair broken equipment, including servers, networking, and storage devices.\nInstall and maintain switches, routers, and other networking gear.\nParticipate in primary or secondary on-call shifts.\nCommit to working weekend shift schemes and 24/7 shifts when
