You will use tools, manually move server racks, and navigate an industrial environment.\nIndividual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Belgium: €68000 - €70000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nMonitor, maintain, and deploy the physical infrastructure behind Google's search technology, advanced data center servers, and network infrastructure.\nContribute to efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of current and new data center servers and network infrastructure.\nInstall and maintain switches, routers, and other networking gear. Diagnose and repair broken equipment, including servers, networking, and storage devices.\nSupport conditions for the servers to ensure optimal functionality and connectivity, and oversee maintenance of critical systems.\nBe available and capable of participating in primary/secondary on-call for the sites and to work on 24/7 shifts if needed.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nExperience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware and server hardware.\nExperience with the assembly of mechanical or electrical systems, or performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment.\nExperience with networking protocols.\nAbility to lift/move up to 23kg of equipment and ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing/pulling and lifting.\nAbility to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.\nPreferred qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n4 years of experience in maintenance and monitoring of server systems.\nExperience working within a data center or network operation center environment.\nExperience with Linux operating systems.\nExperience with performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on IT equipment or in a similar role (e.g., Systems Administration, Network Deployment Engineer, Help Desk Technician,
