Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Java and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js .
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive user interfaces.
  • Design and optimise relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across both frontend and backend.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture and design discussions.
  • Optimise application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implement authentication and authorisation using Spring Security, JWT, or OAuth.
  • Work with DevOps teams to automate deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the application architecture.


Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17).
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
  • Frontend development using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js .
  • Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, NgRx).
  • Database experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA for ORM.
  • Experience with Maven or Gradle for build management.
  • Version control using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Testing experience using JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • API testing using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
