As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. Ensure governance structure effectively exposes and mitigates dependencies.\nEstablish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and resource stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources) whereby improvements such as efficiency and utilization gains are measurable and the impact can be felt organization wide.\nImplement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications.\nSeek out and identify change management opportunities that increase program velocity and which affect multiple teams. Apply governance over change management to ensure it’s used effectively.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n8 years of experience in program management.\n5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.\nExperience managing cross-functional technical programs.\nPreferred qualifications:\n8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.\nExperience in managing the execution of technical programs.\nExperience in working with engineers, product managers, product specialists or operations managers to drive product development.\nExperience in managing product development through the entire life cycle (e.g., from evaluation and planning through design, development, delivery and transition to maintenance).\nExperience in leading technical projects with multiple stakeholders.\nExperience in managing projects and communicating between technical and non-technical
