We deliver on our mission, and collaborate with our partners to achieve the following:\nSingle-source-of-truth data that is robust, high-quality and trusted\n\nInformative visualizations supporting reporting and understanding\n\nAutomated insights and analyses that enhance decision making at all levels\n\nReporting infrastructure that is stable and scalable\n\nIn understanding the user need, we partner directly with Marketing Managers to create & maintain dashboards, resolve bugs and work on feature requests. Where there is a gap between business requirements and available products, we prioritize the need, identify solutions and deliver resulting product initiatives.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nAs a Data Engineering Specialist, you’ll develop the data infrastructure to ensure that Google stakeholders have the product, support, and operations data they need to make crucial business decisions. You’ll partner with our business and enablement teams to create visualization solutions and have the opportunity to design innovative data solutions while solving challenging problems using Google’s large-scale production data infrastructure.\nDevelop ETL Pipelines:Build fast, scalable and reliable data pipelines for Google Analytics data to flow into GCP BigQuery\n\nOptimize Performance: Ensure existing data pipelines are optimized / troubleshooted for faster data responses\n\nPerform Analytics:Develop visualizations for impactful data insights to enable business decisions\n\nMaintain Code Quality:Build, optimize, clean the SQL code to ensure adherence to Google standards & optimal performance\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n3+ years experience working with advanced SQL: manipulating and managing large datasets to derive insights.\n\nTechnical expertise in building, troubleshooting and maintaining ETL pipelines on GCP BigQuery, knowledge in OLAP technologies and data warehousing.\n\nAbility to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.\n\nEffective communication and leadership skills.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBasic to intermediate proficiency with GCP\n\nBuilding and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.\n\nSupervising the design of new data products and optimizing how they will perform.\n\nChecking in and peer reviewing SQL.\n\nDebugging, root causing, communicating and fixing data discrepancy issues.\n\nAt Google Operations Center, we don’t just accept differences, we celebrate them.
