Google.\nResponsibilities\nPartner with technical sales teams as a data management subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers.\nHelp prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges.\nEngage in proofs of concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks related to database and application migrations and data back ends for new application development. \nEngage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and persuasively present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud. \nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.\n10 years of experience in cloud computing environment, or in a customer-facing role.\nExperience in database technologies, administration and management tools, performance tuning techniques, SQL, troubleshooting, and data migration strategies to Google Cloud.\nExperience delivering technical presentations and live demonstrations of database products.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.\nExperience in disaster recovery and data backup strategies.\nExperience with optimizing database performance with respect to transactional or analytic workloads.\nExperience with data migration strategies and moving large-scale production systems either in on-premise/data center environments or migration to cloud scenarios, and SQL skills with deep query troubleshooting knowledge.\nUnderstanding of complex customer’s existing software workloads and ability to define a technical migration roadmap to the Cloud reflecting specific customer needs.\nExcellent skills in SQL, NoSQL, and Performance
