Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Product manager will define and design GDC strategy and releases. The Product Manager will work with internal and external partners on technical requirements and deliver the right foundational platform, training, and partner capabilities for the distributed cloud. The responsibility also includes collaborating with different product teams to build the right availability features at different layers, including of the entire solution stack. This is a high impact role working with many teams inside Google Cloud and alongside some of the largest technology partners and customers in the world. You need to have a deep technology understanding, a very strong solution mindset, and enjoy working with various teams and functions. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Define the long-term outlook, strategy, and roadmap for the GDC Operations.
- Drive GDC organization wide releases by coordinating across several services meeting critical customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with customers to define product requirements and architecture specifically for the operators in the public sector space, prioritize features, and oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to landing.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs, gather feedback, and translate them into actionable product improvements.
- Identify and address technical risks, infrastructure bottlenecks, and scaling challenges.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
- 2 years of experience developing/launching products/technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 10 years of experience with product management particularly in the AI domain, with experience managing and launching technical products and features.
- Experience with managing large-scale production deployments across the key facets of operations, support, deployment, troubleshooting, etc.
- Understanding of AI infrastructure (GPUs), virtualization, containerization, and experience as a builder of large-scale infrastructure products.
- Understanding of AI and agentic technologies.
- Ability to analyze market and customer data, interpret complex data sets, and use insights to drive product strategy and decisions.
