Your work will focus on a broad range of smart home devices, phones, laptops, tablets, other wearables, and accessories. You'll evaluate field failures and customer complaints, perform benchtop laboratory examination, research device usage statistics, and determine root cause. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional product teams during the product development life cycle.\nIndividual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $132000 - $189000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nEvaluate customer safety related complaints.\nMaintain a database that tracks safety issues, and identify trends.\nPerform root cause analysis and laboratory testing of new or fielded products related to user safety.\nEngage with cross-functional teams to identify potential component, module, system, and user interactions which cause safety concerns.
