about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nManage multiple data center construction programs from concept development and design through execution and deployment.\nGather technical and operational requirements, translating them into executable infrastructure solutions for data center facility operations. \nPartner cross-functionally with engineering, construction managers, contractors, and external vendors to maintain project momentum and resolve site challenges. \nDrive program governance, schedule tracking, risk mitigation, and executive reporting for leadership and delivery partners. \nEvaluate complex construction and facility challenges, implementing scalable solutions to protect delivery timelines, safety, and budget.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n8 years of experience in program or project management.\n5 years of experience with technical teams responsible for project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or mission critical facilities.\n5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, or infrastructure.\nPreferred qualifications:\n10 years of experience with mission-critical equipment/environments.\nExperience managing vendor relationships with a strong understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry.\nKnowledge of fast-track design-build processes.\nKnowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.\nAbility to gather requirements, organize resources, prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and achieve objectives within defined goals.\nExcellent communication, people management, and problem-solving
