As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish - working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proven capability to translate complex technical Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) risks into executive-level insight for business stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessment and oversee high-risk activities including Lockout-tagout (LOTO), electrical work (arc flash), hot work, working at heights, and confined spaces and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents/near-misses, implementing corrective and preventative action (CAPA).

• Travel up to 50% of the time and be onsite full time, 5 days per week as needed.

• Collaborate with engineering and facility teams to review safety design in line with local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program or project management.
• Experience in environmental regulations and safety management.
• Experience in EHS management systems or managing EHS compliance including environmental compliance.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience working in mission-critical environments (data center, construction, manufacturing, semi-conductor or major infrastructure, etc.).
• Knowledge of India EHS regulations and best practices.
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and people management skills.
