You will be involved in managing transparent and thoughtful engagements, partnering with teams across the company to help ensure accurate responses, and preparing executives to testify in multiple markets.\nIndividual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $252000 - $351000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nLead response to legislative inquiries and investigations.\nDirect legislative testimony prep and strategy.\nOversee the drafting of written responses and the collection and production of accurate information for external submissions and disclosures.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nJD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.\n7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.\n7 years of experience in legal, regulatory, or legislative matters, including addressing, minimizing, or avoiding regulatory risk.\nAdmitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.\nPreferred qualifications:\n10 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.\nExperience engaging with legislative bodies, including congressional and parliamentary committees and policymakers across the globe.\nExperience working with executive leadership to prepare for high-profile engagements. Experience with managing projects and partnering effectively with cross-functional teams.\nExperience working with technology companies and ability to understand complex and novel technical issues.\nExcellent attention to detail, with the ability to be action-oriented and act with the highest standards of integrity and collaboration.\nExcellent verbal communication, time management, and investigative skills.
