Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.\nThe Ads Solutions Engineering (ASE) team within gTech Ads Solutions works with gTech Regional and Enablement teams on globally applicable projects and initiatives. Solutions Engineers work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside other engineers and technical experts to accelerate the identification and development of scaled ads solutions globally.\nGoogle creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech’s role is to help bring them to life. build a series of solutions and best practices at a global level to be reused by customers, sellers, and partners proactively.\nLeverage engineering skills to adapt existing bespoke ads solutions created by regional teams into globally scaled solutions that can support thousands of customers.\nOwn the solution life cycle from discovery to launch, managing maintenance bugs and feature requests, as well as deprecation for a portfolio of scaled solutions.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related techincal field, or equivalent practical experience.\n6 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).\n6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).\nExperience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.\n8 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).\nExperience building solutions.\nAbility to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.\nExcellent project management skills along with the ability to take initiatives, work separately, navigate ambiguity, and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with a passion for data and a focus on delivering excellent user
