Google.\nResponsibilities\nDefine data center system-level, product architecture, and research and development, while helping to develop operations and maintenance procedures for systems/processes.\nConduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.\nEnsure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc.).\nInvestigate and integrate renewable power generation and carbon-free storage technologies, developing innovative ways to protect and control these new energy frontiers.\nAct as the technical lead for execution and field testing teams, driving the commissioning efforts for complex power system protection schemes.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience working on critical infrastructure projects related to process improvements.\n5 years of experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing using RTDS, OPAL-RT, or similar platforms.\n5 years of experience in protection and control engineering.\nExperience with mission critical systems (24x7 and no-fail) and operations (e.g., power generation, data center, refinery, chip fabrication, chemical plant processing, etc.).\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Engineering.\nExperience writing control code and control system programming.\nExperience using electrical transient analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, and PSCAD.\nKnowledge of IT server and network system supporting data center services.\nAbility to perform closed loop testing on protection and control
