You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.\nWith your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).\nIn this role, you will apply your deep technical expertise to oversee data center infrastructure projects from initial site due diligence through design, construction, and operational support. You will drive the technical design and review of mission-critical facilities-including HVAC, heat rejection, water supply and drainage, fire protection, and utility interfacing-while partnering closely with external Architects and Engineers. Networking, Data Center operations, systems research, and much more.\n Responsibilities\nLead the end-to-end design and review of critical mechanical systems (HVAC, fire protection, plumbing) for data center projects and infrastructure upgrades.\nResolve complex, program-level mechanical issues through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, internal product groups, and external vendors.\nLocalize global designs to satisfy regional regulations, driving optimal engineering execution across safety, quality, schedule, and cost for APAC facilities.\nDrive innovation by proposing sustainable mechanical designs and overseeing factory witness testing for crucial equipment.\nUpdate and maintain internal design specifications and standards, seamlessly integrating continuous improvements and lessons learned into future builds.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.\nAbility to travel up to 25% of the time as required.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster's degree in an Engineering or Business field, or equivalent practical experience.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license.\n8 years of experience designing, constructing, commissioning, or operating large-scale mission-critical facilities and data center systems (e.g., cooling plants, fire suppression, water/sewer).\nExperience with sustainable mechanical systems design, water treatment, and recycling.\nExperience in mechanical design principles for medium-scale production, complex modular building assemblies, structural elements, and tolerance analysis.\nKnowledge of international building codes and operational construction safety
