technology.\nResponsibilities\nLead Design for Reliability (DfR) for NPI hardware projects, driving rigorous Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEAs), physics-based modeling, and continuous risk scorecards to quantify and prevent P0/P1 issues early.\nAchieve Annual Return Rate (ARR) targets by executing advanced test suites and tracking field correlation to accurately predict shipping reliability metrics.\nDrive end-to-end failure analysis (FA) and corrective action validation (FACA) for complex system and component issues, leveraging AI and advanced tools to accelerate root cause resolution.\nCollaborate with cross-functional partners and suppliers to validate design changes, establish standardized test fixtures, and mentor junior engineers.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent practical experience.\n6 years of experience with reliability, quality engineering or a related field.\nIndustry experience working with contract manufacturing partners.\nExperience with consumer electronics design and processes.\nAbility to communicate in English fluently as this is a role that requires interactions with global teams.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.\nExperience in applying design for reliability techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and DFMEA and reliability modeling techniques such as Reliability Block Diagram, Weibull, ALT.\nExperience in collaboration with cross-functional teams on assessing risks and identifying corrective actions for failures captured in reliability testing.\nExperience with Python, MATLAB or other programming languages for data analysis and hardware tests.\nExperience with failure analysis techniques for electrical, mechanical or optical components.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally as
