You will help organizations effectively detect and respond to threats and reduce the overall impact of business risk before, during, and after an incident. You will be able to resolve security incidents quickly, effectively and at scale with complete incident response including investigation, containment, remediation, and crisis management. In this role, you will work on engagements including assisting clients in navigating technically complex and high-profile incidents, performing forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage.\nIn this role, you will understand existing and emerging threat actors, and identify rapidly changing tools, tactics, and procedures of attackers. training.US: $138000 - $200000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nCollaborate with internal and customer teams to investigate and contain incidents.\nRecognize and codify attacker Tools, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) that can be applied to current and future investigations.\nConduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of incident response investigations.\nLead client-facing incident response engagements, examining cloud, endpoint, and network-based sources of evidence.\nDevelop comprehensive reports and presentations, communicating findings and remediation strategies to technical stakeholders and executive leadership.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience working end to end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.\n5 years of investigative experience with network forensics, malware triage analysis, cloud forensics, or disk and memory forensics.\nPreferred qualifications:\nCertifications in cloud platforms.\nExperience in Cloud incident response or forensics.\nExperience communicating investigative findings and strategies to technical staff, executive leadership, legal counsel, and internal and external clients.\nExperience with cybersecurity, scripting, or programming.\nExperience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk), log analysis, operating system forensics (Linux, macOS), or threat
