The Data Center Engineering team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. Our lab mirrors a research and development department --strategies are born, tested and tested again. Along with a team of great minds, you take on complex topics like how we use power or how to run environmentally-friendly facilities. You're a visionary who optimizes for efficiencies and never stops seeking improvements -- even small changes that can make a huge impact. You generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.\nWith your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).\nIn this role, you will support our AI2 mission to safely and quickly develop AI infrastructure.\nResponsibilities\nWork with partners, customers and key stakeholders to develop and articulate mechanical, HVAC, MEP design plans and long term strategy. Initiate new programs in response to need and be the catalyst for winning support and driving them through the execution phase.\nManage various programs of work, engage teams and engineers, set the pace for development, deployment and delivery of data center services and infrastructure. Develop and prepare mechanical calculation, MEP calculation, product selection criteria, project documentation, quality check documents, code and compliances metrics, process maps, presentations and tracking reports to provide detailed current status of each project.\nAnalyze service performance and system performance data and translate into recommendations and actionable plans.
