Monitor and analyze threat activity across the Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) Frontier's prioritized data sources, perform threat clustering, deep analysis of tradecraft or TTPs involved, and document research findings in intelligence platforms.\nHunt for threat actor activity across data sources, and develop automatable signal logic (e.g., queries, rules, scripts, signatures etc) that help operationalize our ability to surface important threat activity at scale.\nDevelop scripts and other automations to collect and process subsets of data to facilitate intelligence analysis, support the team in driving automation requirements into larger developing efforts and systems.\n Identify opportunities to disrupt, mitigate and remediate threat activity in available systems.\nProvide support in drafting intelligence reporting for internal consumption and public facing content. \nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.\n5 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.\n1 year of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment.\nExperience with SQL or Python to support automating tasks and interacting with data programmatically.\nExperience with attacker methodologies and implementing techniques used to hunt for adversarial activity across data sources.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience identifying and prioritizing cyber threats for investigation, threat actor attribution, threat tracking, and analysis of complex attack chains across the full intrusion lifecycle.\nExperience with technical analysis, including the development of file, host, and network signatures leveraging multiple malware and network detection platforms, static and dynamic malware analysis, host forensics or other technical topics.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.\nDeep hunger to learn about AI system security, AI attack vectors and methods to detect where and how threat actors are using or abusing AI
