We are dedicated to creating scalable, high-performance full-stack solutions.\nAs an Engineer on this team, you will drive technical strategy throughout the user storage lifecycle building globally scaled features that help millions of users monitor, optimize, and secure their digital memories and legacies across devices.\nThe Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.\nResponsibilities\nAct as a technical lead driving the design, architecture, and end-to-end deployment of globally scalable storage features spanning both Android clients (primary) and backend services.\nCollaborate cross-functionally and with other Google teams to launch impactful products at the intersection of Google One, Google Photos, and the OEM ecosystem.\nEmbrace and accelerate development using agentic AI coding capabilities.
