Google.\nResponsibilities\nWrite product or system development code.\nParticipate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on the available technologies.\nReview code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).\nContribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.\nTriage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of programming experience in C++.\n3 years of experience in architecting and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems (storage, databases etc).\nExperience with cloud databases, performance optimization, and benchmarking.\nPreferred qualifications:\n Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.\nExperience designing and developing relational databases, database internals, query processing and query optimization.\nExperience building transaction processing systems (OLTP) or larger scale analytics (OLAP).\nExperience building data warehousing systems (e.g., Spark, BigQuery).\nExperience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test
