Responsibilities

Have knowledge of Cloud Technologies which you can leverage to build latest features to customers. Engage with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure teams.
Have thorough understanding of Cloud FileSystems, Networking, Google Cloud Platform, enterprise ecosystems etc.
Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Write and test product or system development code. Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience with software development.
5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
Experience in C++, C or Go.
Experience architecting and developing large-scale distributed systems. Experience in concurrency, multithreading and synchronization.
