Google.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data infrastructure powering core nutrition and wellbeing features.\nBuild and support the data systems and deployment/testing infrastructure that connect data pipelines with AI-powered health and coaching features.\nPartner with engineers, product managers, UX designers, clinical specialists, and Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to turn product requirements into technical designs and user-friendly features.\nLeverage modern AI-assisted developer tools to accelerate coding, debugging, test generation, and code understanding, applying strong engineering excellence and a human-in-the-loop mindset to ensure software reliability and security.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, maintain unit and integration test suites, and monitor production systems to ensure high performance and availability.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.\n2 years of experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems, with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.\nExperience developing and designing APIs.\nExperience with computer science fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms, software design).\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience developing nutrition, fitness, health technology, or wellness applications.\nExperience deploying, testing, and serving artificial intelligence capabilities and data services.\nExperience utilizing artificial intelligence development tools for test automation, debugging, and code
