more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, build, test, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and automation infrastructure supporting Geo's developer workflows.\nArchitect reliable APIs and data contracts connecting execution systems, developer tooling, and build/test infrastructure.\nDesign and implement evaluation harnesses, telemetry pipelines, and analytics platforms to measure the quality and impact of AI-assisted engineering tools.\nEstablish automated feedback loops that translate execution traces and developer telemetry into continuous improvements for system performance.\nBuild unified visualization dashboards and reporting interfaces that translate complex engineering telemetry into actionable insights.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.\n2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.\n2 years of experience building developer tools (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.\n2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.\nExperience designing and optimizing telemetry systems, data pipelines, or observability platforms (e.g., distributed tracing, metrics aggregation, dashboarding).\nExperience architecting benchmarking, evaluation systems, or validation harnesses for Generative AI models, developer agents, or developer productivity tools.\nExperience designing developer-facing APIs, integration frameworks, or developer platform
