Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.\nResponsibilities\nWrite product or system development code.\nReview code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).\nContribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.\nTriage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.\nDevelop Schedulers/Queueing Systems to run jobs on real vendor hardware. Integrate with internal/external subsystems like the reservation portal, github, business intelligence platform and internal dashboards. Provide support to internal teams on the infrastructure we build.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.\n2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.\n2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.\nExperience with networking protocols. \nExperience in development using C++.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.\n2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.\nExperience developing accessible technologies.\nExperience building and shipping systems from scratch.\nProficient in System Design and architecture. Comfortable with fast-paced AI-motivated design and iterative development.
