We need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.\nThe Pixel Device Thermal Software Team is responsible for developing thermal management software, tuning device policy, collecting thermal metrics, analyzing and profiling key CUJs for both Tskin and Tj. We work with cross-functional teams to create innovative and efficient solutions to control Tskin/Tj within the target and make hard trade-offs in creating the best user experience.\nThe Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.\nResponsibilities\nEnhance SoC platform and device thermal bring up.\nDevelop operating system thermal management software, including Tskin, Tj, userspace API and frameworks.\nEstablish and improve thermal KPIs (lab and field) for key use cases.\nCollaborate with internal and external partner teams to improve thermal on future hardware architectures.\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Shell) for executing thermal stress tests and simulating user workloads.
