The Extraction Service is a foundational, standalone building block that powers critical workflows across Google by converting unstructured, multi-modal documents (PDFs, Office formats like DocX/PPTX, tabular data, XML/EPUB, markup, images, audio, and video) into rich, structured semantic representations.\nThe Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google.
