$300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nWork on core system components including memory management, scheduling, power, storage, virtualization, networking.\nCreate and ship Generic Kernel Image (GKI) for billions of devices.\nScale development across a growing number of verticals (Wear, Auto, TV, large screen, etc.)\nContribute to various open source projects, such as Linux Kernel, STG, AOSP, LLVM, LTP.\nCreate and maintain a reliable, secure and robust foundation for the Android software ecosystem.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n8 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.\n3 years of experience with software design and architecture.\nExperience programming in C/C++.\nExperience with software development in the Linux Kernel.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.\n8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.\nExperience building software in the Rust programming language. \nExperience with Android platforms.\nExperience with system software in any of the following areas -
