Google.\nResponsibilities\nDefine and drive the technical strategy, roadmap, and architecture for the GTI Threat Scoring platform and verdict engine within Google Threat Intelligence.\nMentor and grow mid-level and executive software engineers in Málaga, creating clarity, protecting team focus, and advocating high standards for code quality, design documentation, and system reliability.\nAct as a key technical anchor across Google Cloud Security, partnering closely with security engineers, threat analysts and domain experts to systematically encode frontline.\nArchitect the cloud-native microservices supporting low-latency graph propagation and real-time threat intelligence streaming.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.\n8 years of experience in software development.\n5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.\n5 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.\n3 years of experience with software design and architecture.\nExperience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.\nPreferred qualifications:\nMaster’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.\n8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.\n3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.\n3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.\nExperience with statistical classification models, false-positive mitigation, and score calibration.\nExperience leveraging Large
