We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nDeploy and configure air-gapped cloud solutions such as Google Distributed Cloud (GDC). Continually improve deployment and management processes for air-gapped cloud solutions by collaborating with external stakeholders such as engineering teams.\nInstall, configure, and manage multiple technologies, including but not limited to network switches, firewalls, block storage, object storage, servers, and hardware security modules.\nDeploy and configure Operations Center (OC) IT infrastructure, including local workstations and IT equipment used to manage air-gapped cloud solutions.\nCollaborate within the organization and with external stakeholders to deliver complex enterprise solutions.\nTroubleshoot and collaborate with engineering on issues that may arise with infrastructure or software while deploying an air-gapped cloud solution.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n3 years of experience with Linux and Windows technologies and architecture/infrastructure, in compute infrastructure, supporting, developing, and maintaining cloud solutions.\nExperience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise solutions.\nExperience creating scripts to automate tasks.\nMust possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience implementing projects in a customer-focused, fast-changing environment.\nExperience working in data center operations.\nKnowledge of enterprise-grade operating systems, working in Linux/Unix/WSL/Windows, Kubernetes, and network administration.\nUnderstanding of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), group policies and hardening practices.\nUnderstanding of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN)
