You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.\nThis position expands the capacity of the Google Data Center Design Execution team to scale with the rapidly expanding portfolio of data center builds across the United States. This role is responsible for developing design delivery strategies, managing the delivery of all data center designs in the US-West Region, helping managing professional design services (architect/engineering firm) relationships across North America/South America (NASA), trending quality performance and lessons learned across the overall design program, and consistent reporting of program health to executive leadership.\nBehind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.\nIndividual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $240000 - $333000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nManage multiple, simultaneous data center design projects from detailed design through construction administration and finally closeout and handover to operations.\nBe responsible for gathering internal requirements, generating potential options, presenting to the leadership team, and delivering design solutions that satisfy customer's needs.\nCreate and manage strategies for the execution of designs that leverage a standard baseline plan of record.
