The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.\nResponsibilities\nDrive and manage the overall product quality and reliability strategy for Google Pixel phones during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases through post-launch.\nPartner closely with Technical Engineering (Tech Eng), Product Manager (PM), and Engineering Integration Program Manager (EI PM) to define clear quality standards, execute validation plans, and align engineering designs with critical product requirements.\nCollaborate with Engineering Program Managers (EPMs), Operations Program Managers (OPMs), and Operation Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to ensure seamless execution, identify and mitigate manufacturing risks early, and support successful product ramp-ups.\nWork closely with the Early Failure Field Analysis (EFFA) Lab to rapidly root-cause field failures, implement corrective actions, and continuously feed quality improvements back into the development lifecycle.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n2 years of experience as a technical program manager in a product quality setting.\nExperience with consumer hardware and cross-functional teams, including engineering, industrial/product design in module development, or vendor development/management.\nExperience in failure analysis (FA), root cause analysis (RCA), and Early Failure Field Analysis (EFFA).\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience shipping high-volume consumer electronics (mobile).\nDeep expertise in DFQ, PQP, and QFMEA and implement early detection sensitivity (NUDD/CTQ) during concept phases to successfully prevent field failures.\nComprehensive technical understanding to effectively standardize playbooks and drive a zero-spill quality culture.\nAct as a product quality advocate, driving cross-functional engineering teams, mentoring junior members, and delivering executive communication.\nManage functional engineering teams and scale rigorous quality standards (IQC/OQC) with CM, ODM, and OEM partners.\nLead Early Field Failure Analysis (EFFA) for rapid corrective actions and enhance ARR prediction accuracy by correlating data across REL, and MDP.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3292,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":2,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":true},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Operating Systems","Streaming & OTT Platforms","Foundation Models","Consumer Internet Groups"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-26T11:40:44Z"}],"liveness":{"score":19,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.347,"p_room":0.55,"age_days":34,"expected_fill_days":30,"reasons":["conf:31","stale_co","velocity","win:tail","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/google-technical-program-manager-ii-npi-product-quality-pixel","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/google-technical-program-manager-ii-npi-product-quality-pixel.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T05:57:11Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4135,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":865,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
