You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.\nThe Central Fleet Technical Program Manager (T/PgM) team is responsible for provisioning fleet compute and storage resources to Google’s resource managers while managing the cost, health and lifecycle of the underlying fleet of machines. Our team leverages Google’s resource abstraction systems to expose and execute on opportunities for inventory and fleet optimization. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.\nIndividual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits\nLearn more about benefits at Google.\nResponsibilities\nManage a portfolio of projects related to fleet efficiency, resource stranding, reverse supply chain, and other fleet priorities.\nTranslate new supply chain capabilities into cost reduction initiatives or user facing feature improvements.\nSupport operations and analytic projects related to the allocation and budgeting of internal computing resources.\nPlay a key role in the advancement of strategy, policy, and supporting tools for operations; provide scripting/tool development as necessary.\nWork with partner teams to manage, launch and deliver projects related to process re-design around demand and supply-side compute resource management.
