Google.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the capacity forecast for dedicated machine pools across all global clusters, modeling organic growth, new cluster turnups, and large inorganic service migrations.\nTranslate logical resource demands into physical dedicated machine supply, ensuring every cell meets hardware platform rules and failure-domain minimums across switches and mzones.\nDrive two supply fulfillment paths for dedicated pools, placing long-lead orders with power validation, and executing faster shared-to-dedicated machine conversions by transferring donor quota and coordinating drains.\nLead annual planning, allocation reconciliation, and the escalation cycle for specialty dedicated infrastructure orders.\nPartner with Compute Security Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Cluster Management TI Resource Managers (TIRMs), and migrating product area Product Area Resource Manager (PARMs) across Cloud, Core, Search, and Technical Infrastructure (TI) to unblock and onboard services without stocking out constrained clusters.\nQualifications\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5 years of experience in program management.\nExperience with data analysis, business intelligence, or dashboarding tools (e.g., SQL or metrics platforms).\nExperience with infrastructure capacity planning.\nPreferred qualifications:\n5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.\n5 years of experience in technical program management, capacity planning, product area resource management, or infrastructure engineering.\nExperience writing SQL queries and building data models or dashboards to analyze fleet utilization, demand forecasts, or supply-chain bottlenecks.\nExperience translating software workload requirements such as compute, memory, local storage, and failure-domain redundancy into physical infrastructure capacity
